Week 4 Team Rankings

1. Dallas Cowboys- After Pittsburgh's mis-step in Philly and 'Boys obliteration of Packers in Green Bay no question who belongs in the top spot.
2. Denver Broncos- Still undefeated(thanks to Ed Hochuli) and still firing on all cylinders. Cutler/Marshall connection is sick.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers- Got beat by the Eagles without Westbrook. That's embarassing. But Rothlisberger wasn't 100%, so I won't punish them too badly.
4. Philladelphia Eagles- Showed a lot of moxy beating the Steelers without Westbrook. Defense looked way better than against Dallas.
5. San Diego Chargers- Best 1-2 team that's been around in a long time. LT's toe still a big concern, but Sproles looks good enough to get job done if they have to sit LT out to heal.
6. New York Giants- Defending champs needed overtime to beat lowly Bengals. Not impressive, but still a win's a win.
7. Green Bay Packers- Got throttled by Cowboys, but Rodgers will get better in big games as season goes on, and still not firing on all cylinders with Grant still nursing sore hamstring.
8. Indianapolis Colts- I know, they've stunk so far, but should come back strong after bye week gives them a chance to get healthy and iron out the kinks.
9. Carolina Panthers- Shouldn't have lost to Frerotte. Coaches abandoned the run too early and Delhomme fumbled three times. Team still too loaded with talent to drop out of top ten after just one bad week.
10. Buffalo Bills- Hard to put a team that barely beat the Raiders at home in the top ten, but they just squeeze in.
11. Tennessee Titans- Defense is great. Only have one real play-maker on offense, though, in Chris Johnson. That limits potential severely.
12. Washington Redskins- Played very well last two weeks. Could be a team on the rise, but play in such a tough division that play-offs are a long-shot.
13. Arizona Cardinals- Loss against Redskins proves they aren't ready for big-time. Seahawks starting to wake up, so Cardinals better step up against Jets this week, or could slip big.
14. Jacksonville Jaguars- Perhaps I've been too hard on this team. Still have solid defense and great running backs, but receivers are a joke. When you're counting on Jerry Porter to save the day, you're toast.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Not as good as their 2-1 record would have you believe, but they are the kind of crafty, gritty bunch that can surprise you, especially with New Orleans slipping, Carolina under-achieving.
16. New Orleans Saints- Too many play-makers in the infirmary. It's going to be all Reggie Bush for a while with Colston and Shockey out now. He should be facing triple teams if defenses are smart.
17. New England Patriots- Nightmare reality of season without Brady finally sets in. Must make a move during the bye week. For Pete's sake, call Daunte Culpepper!
18. New York Jets- Retirement sounds pretty good right now, eh Brett?
19. Chicago Bears- Surprisingly, offense has been better than expected, but not good enough to win many games.
20. Minnesota Vikings- Gus Frerotte won't be good enough to get them where they want to go.
21. Seattle Seahawks- Had to feel good knowing they could still beat the crap out of the Rams whenever they want. If Branch and Engram are at full strength soon, this team could move way up.
22. Baltimore Ravens- I know, they're undefeated, but they haven't played anybody worth a darn yet. If they beat the Steelers this week, they will sky-rocket up my rankings.
23. Cleveland Browns- I still think they could be good, but man they've sucked so far.
24. San Francisco 49ers- Are 2-1, but beating the Lions doesn't really count.
25. Atlanta Falcons- Schedule-makers were sweet to give them Lions and Chiefs so early in the season. 2-1 has to feel good.
26. Houston Texans- Had to like what they saw from Slaton. Have to be scared crap-less by what they've seen from Schaub.
27. Miami Dolphins- I was wrong, they already gave their fans a lot to cheer about. Impressive, but they still lost to the Jets and the Cardinals, so I can't go crazy here.
28. Oakland Raiders- Over-achieved by just being in it against the Bills in Buffalo. Should have been routed. I'm impressed with everything about Russell but his accuracy. Needs to improve there and find someone worth throwing to, and they might actually be decent.
29. Cincinnati Bengals- Still lots of talent, but now 0-3? Geesh.
30. Kansas City Chiefs- Herm is an idiot.
31. Detroit Lions- Fire Millen! (Whoa! It finally happened!!!)
32. St. Louis Rams- Fire Linehan!

Week 4 Quarterback Rankings

1. Jay Cutler(@KC)- Remember what he did against the Raiders? The Chiefs are worse.
2. Phillip Rivers(@Oak)- Cutler beat the bejesus out of them, and Rivers is the second hottest quarterback in the league.
3. Tony Romo(vs. WAS)- Match-up not as good as Cutler and Rivers, but Romo is a stud.
4. Donovan McNabb(@CHI)- Chicago defense hit and miss. Gave Peyton and Delhomme fits, let Griese torch them for 400+ yards.
5. Aaron Rodgers(@TB)- Tough match-up, but he has been solid.
6. J.T. O'Sullivan(@NO)- Can't believe I have him up this high, but NO's defense is suspect, and J.T. is red hot.
7. Brett Favre(vs. ARI)- Starting to look like Jets will be playing from behind a lot. Means lots of passing yards, TDs, and INTs for Brett.
8. Kurt Warner(@NYJ)- Offense was conservative against 49ers and Redskins, aired it out against Dolphins. Hard to know which way they will go week to week, but with receivers this good Captain Kurt is still an every week fantasy starter.
9. Trent Edwards(@STL)- Very vanilla. Doesn't put up huge numbers, but they are playing the Rams, so he's likely to have his best week yet.
10. Jake Delhomme(vs. ATL)- Come on Jake. You've got a great running game to keep the defense occuppied and your superstud receiver is back. Time to put up some numbers.
11. Carson Palmer(vs. CLE)- Still one of the best WR units in the league. How can he not put up better numbers?
12. Drew Brees(vs. SF)- Who is he going to throw it to? Bush is only playmaker left standing and defense should try to take him out of equation, though who knows with 49ers.
13. Ben Rothlisberger(vs. BAL)- Shoulder injury a big concern, especially against Baltimore D, but may have to lean on passing game with Parker out, Mendenhall still green and suffering from recent 'bout of fumbilitis.
14. Jason Campbell(@DAL)- Has looked solid last two weeks, and will be behind so will have to throw a lot in second half.
15. Brian Griese(vs. GB)- Will also probably be behind so will have to throw a lot, but they are hurting at wide receiver.
16. Derek Anderson(@CIN)- Could get pulled early for Quinn if struggles. Makes him a dangerous start, despite good match-up.
17. Damon Huard(vs. DEN)- Rumor that Herm might actually let Huard play. Huard is by far best QB on this team, and there are weapons to throw to with Gonzalez and Bowe, but Denver is a tough match-up.
18. David Garrard(vs. HOU)- No one to throw to, but a decent match-up.
19. Kerry Collins(vs. MIN)- No one to throw to, and a tough match-up. Oh yeah, and he's Kerry Collins.
20. Matt Ryan(@CAR)- You'd have to be really desperate . . .

Week 4 Running Back Rankings

1. Marion Barber(vs. WAS)- Superstud will get it done, as usual.
2. Frank Gore(@NO)- Frank has looked great, and Martz has used him well. NO has suspect defense and is struggling with injuries, so should be another good day for Frankie.
3. Marshawn Lynch(@STL)- Great back against Rams. That's money in the bank.
4. Reggie Bush(vs. SF)- No one else left to make plays for the Saints. Should have a 100 yard receiving day, plus rushing yards and a TD or two.
5. Ladainian Tomlinson(@OAK)- Great match-up for LT, but if I were the Chargers I'd put him on ice for a couple weeks to get that toe right. Threat of toe limiting him is a concern.
6. Adrian Peterson(@TEN)- Tennessee defense is elite, and should tee off on Frerotte. Minnesota could be playing from behind, so temper expectations for AP.
7. Matt Forte(vs. PHI)- Will get plenty of touches, but Philly D is looking great.
8. Larry Johnson(vs. DEN)- If Huard really starts, then LJ should put up solid numbers in Arrowhead, though Denver is tough.
9. Clinton Portis(@DAL)- A tough match-up, but Portis is a gamer.
10. Jamal Lewis(@CIN)- After Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore, Jamal finally gets a defense he can run against. Uncertainty at QB position a concern, though.
11. Chris Perry(vs. CLE)- Quietly becoming a very solid fantasy back.
12. Michael Turner(@CAR)- Very tough match-up vs. Carolina D, but has earned status of every week fantasy starter.
13. Maurice Jones-Drew(vs. HOU)- Finally came alive last week, and decent match-up.
14. Earnest Graham(vs. GB)- Was terrible last week, and Gruden likes to run Dunn, so becoming a bit of a gamble, but should rebound.
15. Jonathan Stewart(vs. ATL)- Carolina needs to get the ball to rookie way more often. If so, could have a huge day against Falcons.
16. Thomas Jones(vs. ARI)- Gets lots of touches. Sooner or later should be effective.
17. Steve Slaton(@JAX)- Looked great against Tennessee. JAX is a tough match-up, but on paper TEN was tougher.
18. Edgerrin James(@NYJ)- Will get you yards every week. TDs? Nah.
19. Willis McGahee(@PIT)- Looked good last week, but tough match-up and McClain may steal goal-line carries.
20. Correll Buckhalter(@CHI)- Did great filling in for Westbrook. If Westbrook is out again C Buck could do well.
21. Chris Johnson(vs. MIN)- Vikings have stymied RBs so far, and Lendale taking goal-line carries.
22. Steven Jackson(vs. BUF)- Trent Green won't help.
23. DeAngelo Williams(vs. ATL)- Could be enough for two backs to prosper against ATL.
24. Fred Taylor(vs. HOU)- Fragile Fred should have good yardage. TD's unlikely.
25. Brian Westbrook(@CHI)- Probably won't play, but as long as there's a chance this stud deserves a place in the top 25.
26 Rashard Mendenhall(vs. BAL)- Ravens a tough match-up for rookie's first start.
27. Selvin Young(@KC)- Broncos running back committee frustrating, but should be all-you-can-eat yards buffet against KC.
28. Darren McFadden(vs. SD)- Banged up, part of a committee, and facing SD, so not a great situation.
29. Darren Sproles(@OAK)- Could get significant mop-up duty in second half with big lead.
30. Ryan Grant(@TB)- Not fantasy relevant so far thanks to hamstring injury/poor conditioning after training camp hold-out.

Week 4 Wide Receiver Rankings

1. Brandon Marshall(@KC)- Teams have to double him from now on, but KC probably doesn't have the personnel to stop him.
2. Terrell Owens(vs. WAS)- Got to hope he's not just a decoy this week.
3. Larry Fitzgerald(@NYJ)- Hasn't had a bad game yet, and Jets don't look too good.
4. Greg Jennings(@TB)- Tough match-up, but playing at an elite level.
5. Steve Smith(vs. ATL)- Good match-up, just needs Delhomme to get him the ball.
6. Anquan Boldin(@NYJ)- Cooled off a little last week, but still got a TD.
7. Braylon Edwards(@CIN)- This should be the week he finally goes off, but uncertainty at QB makes it iffy.
8. T.J. Houshmanzadeh(vs. CLE)- Rumors of a Housh sighting last week finally give reason for hope.
9. Lee Evans(@STL)- Playing the Rams, so you know what to do(start him!!!)
10. Chris Chambers(@OAK)- Hasn't had a bad game yet, and great match-up to boot.
11. Chad Johnson(vs. CLE)- He's due.
12. Laveranues Coles(vs. ARI)- Waking up. I've got a good feeling about Coles from here on out.
13. Jerricho Cotchery(vs. ARI)- Looks like a reliable yardage guy week-in week-out.
14. Dwayne Bowe(vs. DEN)- With Huard at the helm, should be productive.
15. Andre Johnson(@JAX)- Disappeared last week, and Schaub really struggling.
16. Roddy White(@CAR)- Has looked great against weak defenses, but Carolina is solid.
17. Hines Ward(vs. BAL)- Tough D and Big Ben's shoulder still hurting.
18. Antonio Bryant(vs. GB)- Could emerge as go-to-guy in Tampa Bay.
19. Santonio Holmes(vs. BAL)- Same story as with Hines, only Hines is first option.
20. Desean Jackson(@CHI)- Hard to count on rookie, but lots of talent.
21. Eddie Royal(@KC)- Should be lots of points scored, so could be enough for him and Marshall.
22. Vincent Jackson(@OAK)- Has been solid and great match-up.
23. Santana Moss(@DAL)- Loves to burn Roy Williams, but Williams is out with broken arm, which actually favors Cowboys in this case.
24. Torry Holt(vs. BUF)- Trent Green won't help. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for the Rams, Linehan found a way.
25. Isaac Bruce(@NO)- So far has been inconsistent, but good match-up.
26. Bryant Johnson(@NO)- Same story as Bruce.
27. Joey Galloway(vs. GB)- Iffy with groin injury, and about 100 years old.
28. Robert Meachem(vs. SF)- Will be asked to step up with Colston and Shockey out.
29. Josh Reed(@STL)- Hey, they're playing the Rams!
30. David Patten(vs. SF)- Same story as Meachem.

Week 4 Tight End Rankings

1. Antonio Gates(@OAK)- Great match-up for this superstud.
2. Jason Witten(vs. WAS)- Hasn't been catching TDs, but always produces.
3. Tony Scheffler(@KC)- Climbing up towards upper-echelon of TEs.
4. Tony Gonzalez(vs. DEN)- Huard should bring consistency.
5. Heath Miller(vs. BAL)- Without Parker, PIT may want to pass a lot, and with Big Ben's shoulder injury may not be able to throw deep, so Miller could be big target.
6. Kellen Winslow(@ CIN)- Should be the week Winslow goes off, but could be a shake-up at QB.
7. Chris Cooley(@ DAL)- Has had two solid weeks in a row now. They will need him against Big D.
8. Bo Scaife(vs. MIN)- I'm not so much confident in Scaife as I am unconfident in everybody else after him.
9. Vernon Davis(@NO)- Hard to figure out how he could be this invisible in this offense.
10. Owen Daniels(@JAX)- For lack of better options, he looks pretty good.

Week 4 Kicker Rankings

1. Nick Folk(vs. WAS)- Great offense at home against decent team=perfect match-up for a kicker.
2. Matt Prater(@KC)- Great offense against a terrible team means there could be a lot of extra points rather than field goals, but at least you know they will move the ball and there will be lots of points on the board.
3. John Kasay(vs. ATL)- Running game should go off in this one, which should be great for Kasay.
4. Rian Lindell(@STL)- You play anyone with a pulse and a helmet against the Rams.
5. Nate Kaeding(@OAK)- Same situation Prater is in.
6. Mason Crosby(@TB)- A little risky as GB may have trouble moving the ball, but good enough team to take the chance.
7. Joe Nedney(@NO)- This could be fantasy gold, as NO is just bad enough on defense that SF should move the ball a lot, and SF is just bad enough that they might fall just shy of the end-zone more often than not.
8. Josh Scobee(vs. HOU)- With running game clicking, Scobee should be good.
9. Neil Rackers(@NYJ)- This looks like the kind of match-up that could end in a field goal, and have many along the way.
10. David Akers(@CHI)- Has been solid so far and Philly has moved the ball fairly consistently, even without Westbrook.

Week 3 Team Rankings:

1. Dallas Cowboys-Come on, how could you really say anyone else with their talent and after their MNF performance?
2. Pittsburgh Steelers-This team looks awesome. Need to get Rothlisberger healthy, but otherwise looks great.
3. Carolina Panthers-Won two tough games without Steve Smith. Scary to think how good they can be with him, and with emerging stud Stewart.
4. Denver Broncos-Defense is questionable, but offense is much better than expected with Marshall/Royal/Scheffler trifecta.
5. Indianapolis Colts-Beat up, old, and rusty, but they will get better.
6. New York Giants-Reigning champs will miss Strahan and Osi eventually, but three-headed running monster of Jacobs/Bradshaw/Ward is awesome.
7. San Diego Chargers-Ed Hochuli's call sucked, but Chargers biggest concern should be LT's toe.
8. Green Bay Packers-If it were a fair world, there wouldn't be any pressure to win in Rodgers' first year as starter. World/Packers' fans not fair though, but so far Rodgers is much better than unfair world/Packers' fans deserve.
9. Philadelphia Eagles-Bad break that Dallas and Giants are so good in same division, and worse break that only decent receiver is a moron who likes to drop balls on one-yard line.
10. New Orleans-Loss to Washington makes this team look much worse than I thought. Colston injury and Shockey's rust will hurt during next few weeks.
11. Arizona Cardinals-Solid all-around team should win NFC West going away, but can they beat good teams from other divisions?
12. Buffalo Bills-Emerging into a solid team. Watch out Patriots.
13. New England Patriots-Can't beat better teams with offense they used against Jets. Mangina gave them the victory with conservative play calling. Better teams will force Cassel to make plays, and will be interesting to see if he can step up to the challenge.
14. Tennessee Titans-Yes, they've got a great defense, and rookie running back Johnson looks awesome, but come on Tennessee management: until you get a decent receiver, it doesn't matter who you play at QB, you'll never go deep into the play-offs.
15. Chicago Bears-Orton doing best he can with no WR's. Defenses will stack the line soon to stop lone offensive playmaker Forte. Will go only as far as TE's Olsen and Clark can take them in passing game.
16. Minnesota Vikings-Defense and running game are great, but they must establish a passing game or season will be lost.
17. Cleveland Browns-Offense should come around eventually, but digging deep hole already, and Baltimore could be tough in Week 3.
18. New York Jets-Proved they aren't ready to take step to next level yet.
19. Tampa Bay Bucanneers-I thought all the talk about Dunn and even Cadillac Williams in the preseason was just a tactic to get Graham to sign for less money. Turns out Gruden really is too stupid to realize Graham is their best offensive player.
20. Washington Redskins-Looked terrible Week 1. Made Saints look terrible in Week 2. Will the real Washington Redskins please stand up?
21. Seattle Seahawks-Once Branch and Engram get healthy, could make run, but by then will be hard to catch Cardinals.
22. San Francisco 49ers-May over-achieve somewhat, but not a play-off contender.
23. Baltimore Ravens-First-year coach+rookie starting QB=rebuilding year. Won't make the play-offs, but defense looks good enough again to make them a tough match-up week to week.
24. Cincinnati Bengals-So much talent at WR, yet such a crappy team. Difference between Cincy and Detroit is that Palmer is an under-achiever, Kitna is an over-achiever. Both teams suck, but at least Palmer has the potential to play better.
25. Houston Texans-Should be much higher on this list, but somehow managed to enter season with no running game again, and didn't even try for Kevin Jones or Rudi Johnson when they had the chance. Need to get on the phone with Ron Dayne or Shaun Alexander right now.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars-Should probably be much higher on this list, but when WR is your biggest weakness, and you try to improve by adding Jerry Porter and Troy Williamson, I can't help thinking you're a lost cause.
27. Atlanta Falcons-Hey, they will probably suck, but they're supposed to suck! They are rebuilding, and this season should be graded on improvement. Already gave fans more than was expected by bitch-slapping Lions in Week 1.
28. Kansas City Chiefs-Could field a respectable team by turning offense over to Huard, but Herm is too dumb to see that. Luckily, injuries may force his hand.
29. Detroit Lions-Millen has done two things right: Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams are a great pair of wide receivers. Should be able to build a good team around them, but Millen's most criminal act is not getting a good QB to throw to them, and not even having a potentially good prospect at QB learning the ropes. Why didn't they take a chance on Culpepper, or draft a Colt Brennan? Because they are idiots. Fire Millen!
30. Oakland Raiders-Fact is, they are rebuilding too, so this season should be graded on improvement, not record, but Al Davis isn't that kind of guy. Russell needs time to grow in one offensive scheme, but Davis will likely get fidgety and impatient, and switch coaches which will likely slow Russell's learning curve and hamper his development. Will be up to Darren McFadden to save this team from oblivion. He did it in KC, but that was without Huard for most of the game. With Huard, KC is a better team than the Raiders, hence the higher ranking.
31. Miami Dolphins-Like Atlanta, not supposed to be good this year, as they are in full rebuilding mode. Unlike Atlanta, won't provide fans with many bright spots along the way. May be harder to avoid 0-16 season this year than it was last year.
32. St. Louis Rams-Blew the draft. Should have taken Dorsey in round 1 and then DeSean Jackson, Devin Thomas, Eddie Royal, Malcolm Kelly, or Limas Sweed in round 2. Should have made the offensive line and finding a replacement for Isaac Bruce their top priorities in off-season, but neglected both. They are screwed. Fire Linehan!!!

Week 3 Wide Receiver Rankings:

1. Terrell Owens(@GB)-Two words: stud muffin.
2. Steve Smith(@MIN)-Itching to make amends for terrible pre-season misdeed. Minnesota is better against run, so Steve-O could go off.
3. Plaxico Burress(vs. CIN)-Has made the jump from moody diva to superstud.
4. Brandon Marshall(vs. NO)-Get out your popcorn, Baby TO should go off on suspect NO defense.
5. Reggie Wayne(vs. JAX)-Torch has been officially passed from Marvin. Reggie is best Indy wide-out by far now.
6. Greg Jennings(vs. DAL)-Scary how quickly Rodgers and Jennings have developed chemistry. Appears to be a yardage machine, and TD's should be imminent.
7. Calvin Johnson(@SF)-Healthier and slightly more seasoned than last year. Proof that Matt Millen has done (only) two things right in tenure in Detroit: Megatron and his side-kick Roy.
8. Anquan Boldin(@WAS)-14 receptions in two games? Officially knocking on door of super-studville.
9. Larry Fitzgerald(@WAS)-Age-old more filling/tastes great debate will be replaced by Larry/Anquan argument in Arizona bars.
10. Roy Williams(@SF)-As defenses forced to focus on Johnson, Roy should start to prosper. If only had a better QB . . . But Matt Millen would have to start doing his job in order for that to happen.
11. Braylon Edwards(@BAL)-Last year seems so long ago, but the Braylon show should start in Week 4.
12. T. J. Houshmanzadeh(@NYG)-I believe in Housh. Just not sure I believe in O-line, Carson, or coaches.
13. Andre Johnson(@TEN)-Still managed to put up good numbers in PIT during Week 1, even though rest of team looked terrible. But TEN is tough, and rest of team really looked terrible . . .
14. Hines Ward(@PHI)-Touchdown machine so far. My gut says this ranking may be too high against Philly, though.
15. Randy Moss(vs. MIA)-Best case for Moss owners is probably if NE loses to MIA, are forced to try and coax Culpepper out of retirement, but Miami should give Cassel a chance to put up better numbers than Jets did.
16. Jerricho Cotchery(@SD)-After Week 2 set-back, should get back on track with Brett against SD.
17. Bryant Johnson(vs. DET)-Nobody likes to give up points as much as DET, and Johnson took big step forward in Week 2.
18. Eddie Royal(vs. NO)-Rookie will prosper if NO focuses on stopping Marshall.
19. Chad Ocho Cinco(@NYG)-Will start putting up numbers at some point. Maybe now?
20. Roddy White(vs. KC)-Don't forget about Roddy just because of Week 2 set-back against TB. This is a good match-up.
21. Chris Chambers(vs. NYJ)-Emerging as a stud.
22. Dwayne Bowe(@ATL)-Who's the QB? If it's Huard and Herm lets him play whole game, all KC skill players are fantasy relevant. If not, all KC skill players are fantasy irrelevant.
23. Santana Moss(vs. ARI)-Perhaps fantasy's biggest boom or bust weekly play. Tends to have huge weeks or totally worthless weeks.
24. Torry Holt(@SEA)-Great player crippled by terrible coaching/weak O-line.
25. DeSean Jackson(vs. PIT)-PIT's D is great, and I can't get his jackass play on MNF out of my head.
26. Donald Driver(vs. DAL)-Has looked good, but Jennings has looked like favorite target of Rodgers. If Big D tries to take away Jennings, Driver could have big night.
27. Santonio Holmes(@PHI)-Hasn't done much so far, and PIT will probably try to grind it out on ground with Rothlisberger hurting.
28. Wes Welker(vs. MIA)-Safety net for Cassel, but good chance NE will run all day.
29. Anthony Gonzalez(vs. JAX)-Big day in Week 2 could be sign of changing of the guard. Marvin may have moved from Peyton's first option to Peyton's fourth, and if Clark's out again that makes Gonzo number 2.
30. Laveraneus Coles(@SD)-Time for him to do something.

Week 3 Quarterback Rankings:

1. Tony Romo(@GB)-No question now. He's da man.
2. Jay Cutler(vs. NO)-Rocket arm and Marshall/Royal/Scheffler give him tons of weapons.
3. Eli Manning(vs. CIN)-Great match-up, just hope they don't get so far ahead they stop passing too early.
4. Philip Rivers(vs. NYJ)-Has been fantastic first two games. Can he keep it up?
5. Peyton Manning(vs. JAX)-Struggling after missed pre-season, injured o-line.
6. Drew Brees(@DEN)-Colston's injury appeared to hurt even more than expected.
7. Aaron Rodgers(vs. DAL)-Hasn't been good so far . . . Has been amazing! Big D could be tougher on him this time, though.
8. Brett Favre(@SD)-SD has been terrible against the pass, but Mangina appears hell bent to keep Favre's numbers down.
9. Kurt Warner(@WAS)-Looked great against Miami, but Washington appears to be waking up.
10. Donovan McNabb(vs. PIT)-Still an under-rated stud. What would this guy have done if he'd had good WR's? Only year he had a decent one he went to Super Bowl. But Steelers are tough on D.
11. Jake Delhomme(@MIN)-Gets top weapon back and though Minnesota is very tough, they are much better against the run than the pass.
12. Jon Kitna(@SF)-Has been much better fantasy player than in real life lately. Should put up numbers against SF, though will turn the ball over(that's a given).
13. JT O'Sullivan(vs. DET)-I'm still not quite sold, but has looked solid and Lions coming to town is always good.
14. Carson Palmer(@NYG)-Too much talent at WR for him to suck all year, right?
15. Ben Rothlisberger(@PHI)-Philly D is tough, and shoulder injury should mean lots of handing off to Mr. Parker.
16. Matt Cassel(vs. MIA)-If he's going to have a big week early in the season, this is it. Miami loves to give up points.
17. Matt Hasselbeck(vs. STL)-No WR's. Does it matter against the Rams?
18. Trent Edwards(vs. OAK)-Has been this year's David Garrard: not putting up sexy numbers, but solid.
19. Jason Campbell(vs. ARI)-Woke up against NO. Arizona defense is good, though.
20. Derek Anderson(@BAL)-Should break out of funk sometime this year, but probably not this week.
21. Kerry Collins(vs. HOU)-Knows his job is to stay conservative, let defense win, so won't likely put up huge numbers.
22. David Garrard(@IND)-Last year's Garrard much better than this year's model. This year's has even worse receivers and a struggling O-line.
23. Matt Schaub(@TEN)-Facing tough defense, and looked terrible Week 1.
24. Damon Huard(@ATL)-If healthy, and if Herm lets him play the whole game, should put up solid numbers.
25. Marc Bulger(@SEA)-Would be good if had a decent O-line, decent WR besides Holt, and a decent coach.

Week 3 Running Back Rankings:

1. Frank Gore(vs. Det)-He's playing the Lions. Do I need to give any other reasons?
2. Marion Barber(@GB)-Touchdown machine/impossible to tackle superman should put up good numbers.
3. Michael Turner(vs. KC)-He's playing KC. 'Nuff said.
4. Julius Jones(vs. STL)-I know, this seems crazy, but he's playing the Rams and Morris is hurt. That means 25+ touches against one of the worst defenses ever assembled.
5. Brandon Jacobs(vs. CIN)-Monster back against terrible team. Great recipe for success, but too many cooks in the kitchen(Bradshaw, Ward in the mix) is only reason to temper expectations.
6. Willie Parker(@PHI)-Might be best back in football by season's end, but Philly will be tough, especially at home.
7. Brian Westbrook(vs. PIT)-Best all-purpose back in the game. Ridiculously good, but short week after huge MNF battle and tough defense mean lower production likely.
8. Reggie Bush(@DEN)-Still not very good between the tackles, but easily the best receiver on the team with Colston out.
9. Adrian Peterson(vs. CAR)-Yes, he's incredible, but until team proves they can pass, red-zone carries will be few and far between. Hard to say if Frerotte will help or hurt.
10. Marshawn Lynch(vs. OAK)-Don't be tricked by Week 2: Raiders suck. Marshawn will be solid.
11. Clinton Portis(vs. ARI)-Portis is a stud, but Arizona defense much improved.
12. Ladainian Tomlinson(vs. NYJ)-Toe injury a major concern. If you own LT, you better have Sproles, and may want to start both to be safe.
13. Chris Johnson(vs. HOU)-Looks like a real stud, and Tennessee will get him the ball often. Only question left is does Lendale steal the goal-line carries?
14. Kevin Smith(@SF)-Good match-up, so he should be good, but Lions are scary bad, so still a little nervous about playing him.
15. Thomas Jones(@SD)-Under-appreciated. Wasn't his fault Mangina called three unimaginative goal-line runs in a row. If offense mixes it up right, should put up good numbers.
16. Steven Jackson(@SEA)-Seattle's defense has struggled, so likely he'll do decently. Hard to count on any Rams these days, though.
17. Matt Forte(vs. TB)-Talented young back, but if I'm Monte Kiffin I stack the box and make Kyle Orton beat me with the Bears lack of WR's.
19. Jamal Lewis(@BAL)-Hasn't done anything yet, but was solid in grudge matches against old team last year.
20. Darren McFadden(@BUF)-Buffalo is tough, and McFad is a little banged up, but yes, he's electrifying and could still put up good numbers.
21. Larry Johnson(@ATL)-Falling out with own team this early in the season cause for major concern. If Huard plays the whole game, LJ should do well, but Herm may not be smart enough to stick with Huard, and trying to run without any legitimate passing game will grind LJ's worn tread bare.
22. Maurice Jones-Drew(@IND)-Indy D likes to give it up to running backs, but JAX has looked really bad so far. Moves up a few spots with news that Sanders is out.
23. Joseph Addai(vs. JAX)-Don't panic, Addai will be good very soon.
24. Ryan Grant(vs. DAL)-Great back, good offense, but hammy acting up and still rusty from missing training camp, and Brandon Jackson stepping up.
25. Edgerrin James(@WAS)-O-line finally looks good. Well balanced offense+open holes to run through=good weekly yardage, but Hightower poaching goal-line carries means low-ceiling to Edge's fantasy offerings.
26. Jonathan Stewart(@MIN)-Minnesota keeps rookie down some this week, but with Steve Smith back to spread defense, and DeAngelo Williams to soften up the D in the first half, fresh-legged rook could score some in the second half again.
27. Chris Perry(@NYG)-Started to look good last week. Needs team to stay in it to keep from abandoning the run, though.
28. Willis McGahee(vs. CLE)-Balky knee and Big Baby stand in way of big output.
29. Earnest Graham(@CHI)-Only Jeff Gruden can keep Graham from being a solid fantasy back, but Chucky appears to be trying his best to do just that.
30. Sammy Morris(vs. MIA)-NE should run the ball all day long. Maroney is banged-up, Lamont was on fire last week, but has missed practice so far this week with a possible foot injury. That makes Sammy the back to play.

Week 3 Tight End Rankings:

1. Antonio Gates(vs. NYJ)-His toe may still not be 100 percent, but this stud should bring it for MNF.
2. Jason Witten(@GB)-Tweaked shoulder is the only thing that keeps him from the number 1 spot this week.
3. Tony Scheffler(vs. NO)-Look for the Scheff to serve up some magic against the Saints' questionable D.
4. Kellen Winslow(@BAL)-Not a good match-up, but this isn't a good week for Tight Ends.
5. Chris Cooley(vs. ARI)-Sooner or later they'll use him, right?
6. Jeremy Shockey(@DEN)-What a joke in Week 2. He was supposed to step up with Colston out. Hopefully one week is long enough to kick some of the rust off and get back on track.
7. Vernon Davis(vs. DET)-Was supposed to explode on offense this year. Guess not. Still, they're playing the Lions. Everybody is fantasy relevant when the Lions are in town.
8. Dallas Clark(vs. JAX)-Only reason he isn't way higher is he might not play.
9. Tony Gonzalez(@BUF)-Tough defense, plus Herm may sabotage all his players' fantasy value by not letting Huard play the whole game.
10. Dante Rosario(@MIN)-With defense focused on Smith and the running game, Rosario may show up in the stat column again.
