Week 2 RB Rankings

1. Adrian Peterson(@DET)- Another dream match-up for the most electrifying talent in the NFL.
2. Chris Johnson(vs. HOU)- After watching Thomas Jones obliterate this D, can't wait to see what Johnson can do with his speed.
3. Clinton Portis(vs. STL)- Phenomenal match-up.
4. Maurice Jones-Drew(vs. ARI)- Arizona limited Gore in the running game, but gave it up to him in the passing game. Jones-Drew equally adept at both, so should produce.
5. Frank Gore(vs. SEA)- Niners will try to grind their way to another gritty win. Should feed Gore all day.
6. Brandon Jacobs(@DAL)- Dallas gave up serious yardage to the Bucs, but Giants still need to establish a decent passing game before Jacobs can really go off.
7. Ryan Grant(vs. CIN)- Solid match-up, and Grant looked decent Week 1.
8. Thomas Jones(vs. NE)- NE D didn't look very good after losing so many veterans during the off-season, but always the threat they could get behind early, which could limit rushing attempts.
9. Michael Turner(vs. CAR)- Panthers were terrible Week 1, but should rebound here, so could be a tough week to get on track. Still, Turner's a stud.
10. Matt Forte(vs. PIT)- Will be very tough going on the ground. Chicago will have to get Forte involved as a receiver to have a chance here.
11. Brian Westbrook(vs. NO)- Looked good in Week 1, but uncertainty at QB makes his production here hard to predict.
12. DeAngelo Williams(@ATL)- Splitting carries again, and if Delhomme doesn't rebound, could be a tough outing.
13. Marion Barber III(vs. NYG)- Looked good in Week 1, but in a game in which they might not have a 4th quarter lead he isn't a sure bet.
14. LenDale White(vs. HOU)- A good bet to get a TD or two here.
15. Fred Jackson(vs. TB)- Should do well again here.
16. Larry Johnson(vs. OAK)- Oakland is the only soft D he faces in the first half of the season. Needs to produce here.
17. Steve Slaton(@TEN)- Hard to be confident against this tough D after how the Jets stuffed him last week.
18. Steven Jackson(@WAS)- They should give him the ball all day, but then again the Rams coaches proved they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer in Week 1.
19. Cadillac Williams(@BUF)- Looked great Week 1, but Buffalo D looked better than expected.
20. Julius Jones(@SF)- Julius looked great against St. Louis, but everybody does. This week will be a good indicator of whether or not Julius will be an every-week fantasy play or just a spot starter when he has a favorable match-up.
